For those that want to try affiliate marketing, you can easily get started without any money of your own. In fact you have free blog sites you can use to build your web sites to promote your affiliate products. Two of the more popular sites are Squidoo and Blogger.
Each of these sites have their pros and cons, but either way they are free to use and they work very well. Squidoo is a powerful site with the benefit of your being able to make some extra money by sharing income between Squidoo and its members. You can also use their modules to sell items through Amazon, Ebay and other sites.
Squidoo is well liked by Google and you can very well rank high if you use good search engine optimization. You can make some good landing pages that you can use to direct traffic to your affiliate product web site. The only down side to Squidoo for me are you can’t use opt in forms and they have a lot of ads that could be a distraction for your visitors.
Blogger is also a good site to use because it is also liked and owned by Google. There are no ads to distract visitors but you can add your own ads. There are a lot of templates you can use from Blogger and from the hundreds available for free made by other users. Blogger allows you to put opt in forms on there sites which is a good point.
Any income you make from Blogger is yours only, you do not have to share. You are able to make as many sites as you like from using either of them which is a great deal. You would benefit from using both of these sites even if you are using a paid service for your web site because they can help generate more traffic for you if used properly.
