Many new people come online with the intention of learning internet marketing, but most end up spending a lot of time and money, only to end up quitting discouraged. As a matter of fact, only 5% of all affiliates ever make any money online and of those, only 2% ever make a substantial income.
The best thing that a new person could do for themselves is to find out what it is that they really love to do and then either hire a personal mentor or buy a good affiliate marketing course so that they can get the education they need. I see so many people fall out of the “game” when they may be so close to actually getting over the top. There are several reasons for this such as a negative environment, lack of money (even though it doesn’t take much to get started), lack of basic computer skills, ect. The best thing that you can do if you’re new is to find an affiliate marketing course that also explains how to do some computer basics or just break down and spend the money on a basic computer course. The local library is also an option for computer classes and is usually free.
There are certain skills that you must have in order to become successful as an internet marketer, so don’t look at paying money for your education as wasted. This is a necessary, ongoing expense that you’d better get used to, if you ever expect to be one of the 2%.
Find yourself a mentor today to help you get your business going. Don’t be shy about it either, get out and find out who can help you and how much they charge per hour.
