Small online Business questions?
My friend and I are opeing up a very small business. We love to make stuffed animals and post all of our pictures onto fb. People have been reqesting stuffed animals from us for a very long time. These people are also willing to pay. We would love to know where we could find a website where you can post pictures and mabey a blogging tool? It has to be free. I know there are alot of free websites outthere but what do you recomend? We also need help makeing up a name. Our names don’t make anything cool so don’t suggest it.

For clarification, you want to know a website where you can store/upload pictures and/or possibly a free online resource that would allow you to create a website and/or blog and at the same time, allow you to upload/insert images of your stuffed animals into the webpage…is this about right?
If so, here are a few suggestions on FREE tools that you can use.
For a free website that will allow you to have up to 7 pages, check out weebly.com
You simlpy create a free account (user-name and password) and then with a few mouse clicks, you can create a pretty good web site for your business.
When it comes time to ‘publish’ your website, then the name of the domain would be:
http://(your-cool-url-name-here).weebly.com
So, say you and your partner went with the name awesome stuffed animals, then your URL would be something like either:
http://AwesomeStuffedAnimals.weebly.com
or maybe
http://Awesome-Stuffed-Animals.Weebly.com
It’s entirely up to you!
And of course, you can also upload as many pictures as you want from your computer…you could even create a whole web page to nothing but your pictures, as only your imagination is holding you back.
Using Weebly.com, you can also add a ‘blog’ to your site as well and the interface is dead-simple to use!
I personaly like weebly.com websites because the only ‘advertisement’ that is displayed is a very small ‘text link’ at the bottom of the web page itself, so it’s very inatrusive to your site visitors.
As for the business name, that really all depends on what type of stuffed animals are you two selling mostly and what your ‘targeted market’ is. Without knowing that and a few other vital answers, I couldn’t even begin to fathom an appropriate business name.
