‘Free IPod’ Internet Banners?
I’m sure you have all seen those internet banner ads advertising free ipods, nanos, etc..
where they get you to sign up and participate in marketing deals and refer friends
and eventually be shipped one free ipod
now these seem absolutely stupid but one of my friends told me that he knows someone it worked for
any knowledge on this?
These sites get paid for the following:
Your E-Mail address(it is sold to spammers!!)
Advertising all over the site
Your participation in offers
Your opinion
(possibly) Your info(adress, phone, etc.)
This is how they pay for the Ipod etc.
I tried one once and all I got was spam and telemarketers looking for me! If you do participate, remember to not give away your personal information. Also if you provide them with enough info, they could steal your identity!!!!!
