does anyone else get sick of watching or reading the news?
or t.v. and internet in general? every time i turn on a news channel or read something in the newspaper or online it absolutely disgusts me. you’ve got headlines about the housing market crashing, oil prices skyrocketing, stupid politicians, war, death, destruction, disease, poverty. and then there’s always a new one about some jackass pro athlete that signs another $150 million contract while the rest of the world wonders how they’re going to feed their family. wtf? what about the rest of us? doesn’t it seem a little selfish on their part to take that kind of money? i work hard for the money i EARN and they kick back and reap the benefits of everyone else working to make more in a month than most of us make in ten years. i used to watch pro sports and avoid the news, now i don’t even want to turn the t.v. on anymore. it makes me sick. am i right or just jealous that i’m not them? i don’t know that i could take a $150 million contract with the current state of the union and the world.
I agree, I think it is called bad news exposure, it is the same garbage day after day after day.
Oh well cheer up, spring is here, and when the warm weather comes, the TV, and the computer for the most part can gather dust.
