Internet Marketing Nigeria

Are people who have the internet in poorer countries well off?
I’m doing some research marketing. You know in places like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka & Nigeria, if they have the internet, do you think they are quite well off?
Cheers!
Generally your premise is correct. Anyone who is availing internet facility is at least computer literate if not educated in academic term. My assumption would be like, about 30% of total users from Bangladesh may be surfing net from ‘others’ computer, like from office or using friends or cybercafe computers. Therefore, all the people using internet may not be that wealthy to be considered as ‘prospective-buyer’. If you know the total numbers of users from Bangladesh then safe figure would be to take 50% of that number as prospects.
Hope above helps.
