Where / How to market my Photography work?
I have established a great portfolio and website, had over a year’s experience working as a Photographer’s Assistant to an established fashion photographer.
Now where could I market myself on the internet – I know gumtree/craigslist/myspace/twitter – where else is good?
Ideally I’d like to get more work doing Actor’s Headshots Photoshoots
I specialise in Fashion, Beauty, Headshots and High End Retouching
Thanks, I’m not really looking to sell prints – but to gain commissions to photograph people (or retouch others work as I am also a high end fashion/beauty retoucher)
You need to get yourself listed on all the directory sites you can.
People who are not in the business know nothing about the various portfolio sites etc and will just google or yahoo for lists of companies they need.
You need to get your website as high up these lists as possible so get as many links to your site that you can.
