Selling food at fairs and festivals – Need Advice?
I am very interested in setting up a food booth at fairs and festivals. I am based in NC. I am excited about the idea but does not know where to begin (what permits I need, do I need any business license, etc). It is so overwhelming now. All I know is I will be selling deep fried yummy food but I do not have any equipment so I really need input from y’all who have done this to give me any advice you have. I greatly appreciate it. PS: I have searched online for any suggestion, guideline, requirement, but nothing came up other than application for different fairs. HELP~~

My best advice is too make sure you stand looks nice and clean. I have honestly seen people dipping the funnel cake with one hand and flicking a ciggerette with the other. Just make sure you or whoever works in your booth looks nice and clean. Also, make sure they follow heath guidlines and keep it tidy. Good luck.
