NJ Unemployment Direct Deposit?
I just filed my first unemployment claim today. I opted for direct deposit when I initially applied for NJUI claims. However, today, after completing the online form, it said they would mail me a check within the next business day. Am I going to get a check or will they actually deposit the funds right into my bank account, as requested?
It will be delivered in to your checking account. Check your bank on-line to see if the deposits went through. It should say Department of Labor. Since I live in NYC and was receiving unemployment, the first check went to my account.
