How tough is it to build / design a databased driven light website with ecommerce facility on it?
It would be really helpful if anyone can help me with information on how go about building a website for myself, i plan to start a small business and i would like to provide information regarding the product along with various option/combination for the visitor to choose from to suit their budget, now this requires some amount of database integration.
I would also like to provide them with facility of buying the product online, I have done a lot of searching online and have a huge pile of templates and various other stuff but i am @ the end confused as to how to go about the whole process.

Also, if you yes a CSM such as Drupal, it has it’s own addon for e-commerce called “Ubercart”
Other CSM have addons for e-commerce too.
