Should I have employee ID cards?
I am looking into making employee ID cards for my business. First, is this a good idea? I’m also having “mental failure” and can’t think of what something is called:
The necklace that usually has a clip at the end to hang an ID card off of. I want to say lapel (but I know that’s on a tuxedo.) Also, where can I find it online? Staples? OfficeMax?
I am in the transportation business, so I think having the drivers wearing an ID tag makes my company look even more respectable. Do you agree? If anyone can help (with the necklace thing) I would appreciate it!
the one for the neck is a lanyard, not recommended for drivers or laborers. Yes you should have badges. but you might want to look into a clip for the pocket a lanyard around the neck could be dangerous for the drivers. any of the office supply places will have them. do a search on ID badges you should find what you need.
