What can I do about my phone number posted online by a closed business?
Apparently my phone number used to belong to a rather shady computer certification school that was shut down about 4 years ago. The number has been mine for over a year, but that business had posted it all over the internet under their name and address. I’m still getting calls from prospective students and temp agencies wanting to know if I’m hiring. How do I get rid of their online listings containing my phone number?
Sorry there doesn’t seem to be anything you can do other than change your phone number.
