Online Design Business Ideas?
I am currently a high school student looking into a career in Graphic Design. My mom mentioned creating an online business to help raise money for school – something I can do on the side and continue doing throughout college – while also improving my skills. I think this would be neat, however, I am stuck when it comes to ideas. I have a passion for marketing and advertising, but I also enjoy creating simple things people can use every day. Is there a way to incorporate both into a successful business? Any ideas to get this started? And finally, If and when I do make that business, how do I spread the word?

Well one option you have is becoming a freelancer. A lot of online design companies outsource design work to freelancers. you could do freelance work until things picked up enough to turn it into a business. as far as spreading the word you could sign up with a few advertising sites like getafreelancer dot com or elancer dot com. A lot of companies use these directories to find qualified people. Hope that helps!
