I have an eBay online business and I ship to serveral different countries, but lately I’ve been having problem?
I have an eBay online business and I ship to serveral different countries, but lately I’ve been having problems with serveral Germany customers in which they claimed they have not received their items and it’s like a month already. I ship quite abit of my items to Germany and I haven’t had any problem until recently. So here’s my questions, I sent all my items via registered air mail, but the problem with German Post is that it does not have online tracking info for air registered mail, so my concern is basically if they filed a non-receipt claim, I would end up loosing because of this. So anyone have any suggestion as to how I can handle this?
I’ve been onEbay for about 12 years. I do not ship out of the country if I cannot track it door to door. (USPS only tracks to the border on any package. It is then handed off to the other country’s postal system, so no tracking exists. )
To fix this simply switch to UPS or Fed Ex to ship overseas. Both allow tracking door to door. UPS also auto insures for most packages who’s value is under $600
