Online Business Education Masters
What degree to pursue? MBA or Edcuation?
I am interested in pursing a second Master’s degree. I am planning on taking classes/earning my degree online and found two programs I am interested in. One of the programs is Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology (Education). The other program is a Master of Business Administration with a technology management focus.
What will suit me better in the long run? I already have a degree in Higher Education Administration.
While I am not a teacher, I have taught college-level classes and am interested in becoming a professor.
If you want to be a professor, the best move would probably be to start working on your Ph.D. You could have 20 MA’s but you still won’t get on a tenure track without a Ph.D. At least, you won’t at any school worth being at.
The MBA will give you a nice income boost, but won’t help your aspirations for becoming a proefessor.
