Just started a small Used Car Lot business, want info on BHPH software, financing options for customers?
I just bought a small used car lot here in South Florida. The past few months I have been selling cash only transactions. I would like to expand into financing, and BHPH. Can anyone recommend software that is cheap, and also does anyone know of online lenders, or other financing sources I can use for my customers? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I use AutoXplorer. They are out of california. www.Autoxplorer.com I don’t know what you consider cheap, but they will do better than the prices quoted on the internet. Have tech support Sat and Sun! Keep in mind, if you intend to print your forms, there will be a programming fee each time a new form is released. (Contracts change every couple of years to account for changes in legislation). We also run our credit bureaus with them. Manheim also has software (Tracker) and it is supposed to be good. They are definitely more money – being Manheim and all. www.manheim.com May not be as suitable for a small operation. As far as financing sources, introduce yourself to all the banks and finance companies as well as credit unions in your area. They won’t all sign you up but can’t hurt to have more tools in the toolbag! If other dealers not so cutthroat, ask them which ones they are using. (Expect to get snowed by a few) Good luck.
