E.g. privatisation
British Airways has gone bust £400 million loss
Railways renationalised
Utilities companies are unnecessarily charging more for gas and electricity and pre payment meters ensure the poor are being charged more for every unit of gas.
Water companies have a private monopoly at least a public monopoly would act more in the public’s interest.
The worst thing for a company, is to go bust, would they have been better in public ownership? I don’t think it’s possible for them to be in a worse position or is it just because of the recession? Or a mix of the two?
