CV Advice: Does this count for positions of responsibility?
I’m currently in my 2nd year of university and starting to fill out internship forms, a typical question is what are your positions of responsibility and I’m not really sure what to put here. Since 2005, I have set up my own online business; I have a shop on eBay in which i sell goods that I have imported from Asia. I’m self employed and have one member of staff and it’s a profitable business. This is really the only thing that I do and obviously I have responsibility here. Do you think that I should explain this here, I’m just not sure how to? Is it a good demonstration of responsibility?
I think thats a good answer, running your own business means that you are responsible both to your suppliers and your customers and it shows that you can multi-task and that you have excellent time management and organisation skills.
Thats a fab example to use.
Another might be, if you are involved in any university clubs or societies?
