Top Internet Marketing Opportunities
which housing stock should I buy?
I am a stock investor. Since housing market is in a slump right now, I want to utilize the opportunity to buy stock in this market because I think the market will recover eventually (I’m ready to buy and hold for 3-5 yrs). But I dont have much knowledge of the top players in this market. Can somebody suggest which top stock should I buy? I am looking to play it safe, so I want to buy the top player in this market (like Intel in PC chips, or Google in Internet search industries) so that when housing market rebounds, that player gains for sure.
Look into either an ETF or a mutual fund… let a manager mix the assets… some REIT’s , some individual companies… if you’re a buy and hold investor, you most likely WILL see the rebound you’re looking for…but a fund would spread out your risk by putting some in commercial , some in hotels, maybe malls, etc…and when things get better move back into home-builders, and financing.
I hold FRESX ( Fidelity’s Real Estate fund), but all your investment companies have something similar.
Once you see signs of a comeback…look at your fund’s holdings..who’s leading the pack ? There’s the single stock you were looking for….
I can however mention one stock…Public Storage ( PSA)..you might not consider it a real estate stock, but I see it in almost every RE fund. Just a thought.
